Mary Caldwell established Aging Savvy to support individuals with dementia and their care partners. She witnessed firsthand the unnecessary suffering and stress experienced by many due to the lack of community support, overburdened healthcare system, and general lack of knowledge surrounding ethical and evidence-based dementia care.
Mary believes that every individual living with dementia deserves the highest standard of care possible. She recognizes that listening is crucial to achieving that objective, as each person and family has different goals, needs, and resources.
With a background in social work, a master's degree in gerontology, and 14 years of professional experience, Mary offers compassionate guidance based on evidence-based methods to help her clients navigate dementia and achieve balance to live well with this chronic disease.
Aging Savvy is dedicated to a holistic, highly ethical standard of dementia care that is collaborative, affordable, and personalized to individuals. Our primary goal is to help individuals untangle the many challenges of life with dementia and lead them to a more fulfilling life in mind, body, and spirit without risking valuable retirement resources.
Aging Savvy's mission is to help care partners and individuals who are aging with chronic diseases experience the best quality of life possible. Mary's area of expertise is working with dementia caregivers and those living with Alzheimer's.
Mary offers a clear, compassionate, integrative approach to tackling even the most challenging aging issues. With years of experience, she can empower clients, including dementia caregivers and those navigating an Alzheimer's diagnosis, using careful assessment, planning, coordination, education, and hands-on support to get them back on track when overwhelming situations knock them off course.
Aging Savvy provides personalized consultations and ongoing support to clients to meet and maintain care plan goals.
